What the app collects

• Account details. Your email address and password, used to sign in. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody (including us) can see them.
• Training data you enter. Workouts, exercises, personal records, goals, achievements and workout templates.
• Body and health data you enter. Body measurements and menstrual-cycle logs.
• Samsung Health data, only if you turn on sync. With your permission, the app reads workout sessions, heart rate, duration and distance from Samsung Health. It only reads; it never writes anything back to Samsung Health.

Things the app does not collect: photos you scan to read a workout are processed on your phone and are not uploaded or stored. The app has no ads and doesn't use your contacts, location or advertising ID.

How it is used

Your data is used only to make the app work for you: saving and syncing your log, calculating records and milestones, predicting your cycle, and scheduling the reminders you switch on.

It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared for marketing, and never used to train AI models.

Where it is stored

Your account and data are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by Google. Security rules limit each account's data to that account only. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Sharing

We don't share your data with anyone, except Google Firebase as described above, or if we're required to by law. If you use the in-app share feature, you choose where that image goes.

How long it is kept

Your data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, everything is deleted with it.

Deleting your account and data

In the app: go to Settings → Delete Account and Data and confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your workouts, records, goals, achievements, templates, body measurements, cycle logs, profile and your login.

Without the app: email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. We'll delete the account and all of the data listed above within 30 days and confirm by email. Nothing is kept afterwards.

Children

Mou's Mettle is intended for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children.
